Amanda Giasson
Amanda Giasson is a Canadian author. She co-authors the fantasy fiction Perspective book series with Julie B. Campbell, and writes the point of view of Megan Wynters.
Not long after becoming fast friends with her co-author in university, Amanda and Julie created the Qarradune universe and its characters. Using their complementary storytelling and writing talents, they eventually transformed a beloved pastime into a polished work of fiction.
Debuting in 2015 with the publication of the first book, Love at First Plight, the Perspective series has since continued with Second Wind, Third Time’s a Charmer, and So On and So Fourth, with more books to come.
Personal Life
After graduating university, Amanda left her managerial position at McDonald’s and became a full-time, professional freelance writer and editor. Amanda has always had a passion for the arts, especially writing, drawing, dancing, and theatre acting. She also loves music, comics, gaming, anime, reading, and cosplay. One of her current favourite hobbies is creating Perspective series cosplay costumes and wearing them to Comic Cons she attends with Julie.
Amanda Giasson lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband Sean and their loveable-but-very-goofy Brittany Spaniel, Copper.
