This past Friday (November 6), Perspective book series authors Amanda Giasson and Julie B. Campbell were invited as guest speakers to share their career experiences at the Dream Job Academy.
The Dream Job Academy is a six-session career exploration program currently taking place at the University of Toronto. Its purpose is to help U of T students explore potential careers, passions and values.
In addition to sharing their stories of how they became freelance writers, Giasson and Campbell also had the opportunity to describe their unique writing technique as co-authors, which attendants found both interesting and inspiring.
Next up, the authors will be attending another book club as guests this coming Wednesday, November 11, to discuss the club’s featured book of the month: Love at First Plight. More news will be posted after the event.
